Afterpay Changes

The Client.

The Objective.

  • Website did not display payment breakdown for Afterpay availability on each product.
  • It wasn’t clear to the consumer that Afterpay was available until checkout.
  • Considering that New Zealanders spend $887 million a year using buy now, pay later services, we thought this may be affecting sales.

The Solution.

We focused on the Tradestaff workwear website and installed coding which allowed us to display the Afterpay option on any product purchasing page, under the displayed price. By making the Afterpay option visible to customers and adding value to their overall shopping experience.

The Results.

By providing an effective solution and overall value to a customers journey, the changes made to the Tradestaff workwear website had a great impact on their sales – in June, Tradestaff Workwear processed 36 orders on Afterpay. In July, they processed 90 orders on Afterpay and their figures from these sales increased by 111% and as a result was their highest monthly sales for six months.
